Maui AIDS Foundation will host a Halloween drag show and costume dance party on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Diamond’s Ice Bar & Grill at 8 p.m.

2018 Maui AIDS Foundation Halloween Party. PC: Maui AIDS Foundation.

Tickets will be $10 in advance at the Maui AIDS Foundation office and other selected vendors, and $15 at the door.

The costume theme this year is “Horror Movies.” This is an event for individuals ages 21-and-over.

Co-produced with Diamonds Ice Bar & Grill and ManCandy Productions, the night will feature performances from the Girly Show and Myssfits Drag Revue, a silent auction, a costume contest, community partner booths and a night of dancing with music from PoundTown.

The evening benefits the Maui AIDS Foundation, which provides services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, along with outreach, education and screening for local communities at risk for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

“We are excited to join ManCandy Productions for another night of Halloween fun and are grateful to Diamond’s for generously donating their space, silent auction items, and constant community love,” said Maui AIDS Foundation’s Director of Education and Prevention Chasity Cadaoas. “Our theme is horror movies, so come as Freddy, Jason, the Bride of Frankenstein or any other monster that haunts your dreams.”

Individuals interested in donating items for the silent auction are asked to contact Chasity at [email protected].  Those interested in volunteering for the event should contact Shannon at [email protected].

The Maui AIDS Foundation office is located: 1935 Main Street, Suite 101, Wailuku.

The Maui AIDS foundation provides confidential and free testing for HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis by appointment at (808) 242-4900. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
