Black Friday and Small Business Saturday on Maui

The busiest shopping week of the year is almost here. With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and even Cyber Monday, we’ve compiled a list of deals, specials, and store hours for your weekend shopping right here on Maui.

Big box retailers will be starting their deals and special offers earlier in the week and will have the widest selection. However, Maui shoppers have the opportunity to support small local businesses which have unique Maui-made and locally sourced products.

Queen Ka’ahumanu Center

Queen Kaʻahumanu Center celebrates Black Friday with Back-in-Black Shopping Day on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Maui’s own “Hawaiian Home Boy”, Shane Kahalehau of KPOA will be broadcasting live from the QKC Center Court Stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will provide an exclusive QKC gift giveaway to the first 250 shoppers at 11 a.m., door prizes, entertainment and more.

The Shops at Wailea

The Shops at Wailea will kickoff their holiday events with a Santa Parade on Black Friday. The parade starts at 9:45 a.m. from Kalama Park, with Santa riding in style in a 1968 Chevy Convertible Camaro escorted by the Maui Classic Cruisers and Street Bikers United Maui.

Following the parade, families can have their holiday photos taken with beloved Santa at the Fountain Courtyard from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early shoppers arriving at 9:30 a.m. at The Shops at Wailea can take advantage of discounted deals and Black Friday sales as the first 250 customers will receive a free gift bag filled with goodies and offers from The Shops at Wailea stores and restaurants.

Shoppers who have a minimum total purchase value of $500 will be entitled to a complimentary holiday tote bag.

Outlets of Maui

Outlets of Maui in Lahaina will have a Black Friday sale beginning at midnight, November 23 and up until 10 p.m. the following day.

The event will feature Outlets of Maui’s first ever “Surprise Shopping Tote Giveaway”. The center’s first 100 shoppers will receive a complimentary shopping tote and ten of those shopping totes will contain a $50 gift card to be used at a favorite Outlets of Maui store.

Walmart

Walmart’s Black Friday deals begin early this year, starting on Thursday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. in stores. Walmart’s featured electronic deals include:

Target’s Black Friday deals and special offers start on Thursday, November 22 at 5 p.m. and doors will close on Friday at 1 a.m. Doors will reopen on Friday, November 23 at 7 a.m.
