Kindergarten and Junior K Registration Begins

The Department of Education in Hawaii is encouraging parents with kids of eligible age, to register their children for kindergarten or junior kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year.

Maui District registration runs throughout the month of February from the 1st to the 29th.

Kids who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2012, are eligible to enroll in regular kindergarten; while children who reach five years of age between August 2 and December 31 may enroll in junior kindergarten.
