White to Discuss Runway Repair Options on Radio Show

Councilmember Mike White will be featured as a guest on “The Maui Breakfast Club” radio program on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

The topic of discussion will be the recently-announced options for repairing the runway at Kahului Airport.

The talk show segment will run from 8 to 9 a.m. on  broadcast on Pacific Radio Group’s KNUI AM 900, and on the internet via live audio stream at www.knuimaui.com.

Hosts Tom Blackburn-Rodriguez and Kellie Pali will also accept live call-in questions on the topic.  The public can participate by calling (808) 856-2836, or by posting questions online at the “Maui Breakfast Club Radio Show” Facebook page.

Councilmember White represents Makawao, Ha‘ikū and Pā‘ia, and serves as chair of the Council’s Economic Development, Agriculture and Recreation Committee.

He has been the General Manager of Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel for the past 26 years and is a sixth-generation kama‘āina who has served on numerous professional and community boards.
