(Update: 12:22 p.m. 2/14/12) The area has since been cleared and Hobron Avenue is now open.
(Posted: 7:05 a.m. 2/14/12) Hobron Avenue in Kahului is cosed due to downed utility lines.

The closure went into effect at around 5:15 a.m.
At 7 a.m., crews were on scene, conducting repairs.
The main Hobron/Kaahumanu Avenue intersection remained open. The closure is located at the makai end of Hobron near the harbor.
