Maui Contractors Association Installs New Board

On Saturday, the Maui Contractors Association welcomed the 2012 Board of Directors at its Annual Installation Banquet held at the Maui Beach Hotel.
Mayor Alan Arakawa spoke in a keynote address regarding the progress of Maui County and later swore in the new board of directors which included: Ray Skelton, Bobo Leal (President), Daren Suzuki (Treasurer), Jerry Pereirra, Chantal Lonergan (Secretary), Gil Hoopii, and Thomas Cook (Vice President)
Bobo Leal, a co-owner of Valley Isle Fencing, has been involved with Maui Contractors Association for over 18 years and has served on the Board of Directors for 10 years. He is involved with our Annual Home Expo, Maui Contractors Foundation Scholarship Program and may other committees. Valley Isle Fencing is a locally owned and family ran business along with partner Al Santos which was established in 1993.
Bobo Leal presented the Association’s Certificate of Appreciation to outgoing Director and Treasurer Joe Williams. “Thank you, Joe, for your many years of hard work and dedication,” said Bobo Leal, in a written statement.
Established in 1962, the Maui Contractors Association is a Maui-based building industry trade association of local contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and associate members.
