A re-grand opening and 3rd Anniversary Celebration will be held for the Native Intelligence Store in Wailuku.

The retailer of native Hawaiian arts, crafts, clothing and supplies moved from its first home on Market Street to a new location at 1980 Main Street, in the space previously occupied by the reWailuku initiative.

The re-grand opening is being held this Friday in conjunction with the First Friday in Wailuku Town event.

Festivities at Native Intelligence begin at 5:30 p.m. on May 4, and include entertainment by Ola Hou and Na Hanona Kulike ’O Pi’ilani.

There will also be Hawaiian food for sale, maoli arts, a hale ’awa, na pua lei, fresh poi, and kulolo.

Since its establishment in 2009, Native Intelligence has been dedicated to the preservation and evolution of Hawaiian culture, providing a retail experience that champions Hawaiian artisan, craftsmen and designers.

In October, 2010, owner, Kapono’ai Molitau was honored as a finalist for both Small Business and Young Businessperson in the mayor’s Small Business Awards ceremony.
