Randall Rospond’s “Legendary Unknown” Friday, May 25 at 9:30 p.m. at Three’s Surf Lounge in Kihei. No cover charge.
“The Weekly Dish” presents an “Uptown affair” on Maui’s south side with a funky, bluesy mix of fine Maui musicians led by Randall Rospond.
Rospond is a local musician and artist, known across the island as a member of the band The Haiku Hillbillys.
‘Trish da Dish’ MCs the event which includes a showcase of some of Maui’s other favorite performers David Avila, Elaine Ryan, and Randy Mills.
Maui Roller Girls Sideshow Saturday, May 26 at 8:30 p.m. at Three’s Bar and Grill in Kihei. Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $15 at the event.
Maui Roller Girls leave the rink and take to the Three’s stage for a wild sideshow carnival on Saturday night in a show also featuring DJ Tee and hypnotist Joshua Blue.
Atendees are encouraged to dress in “carnival attire” – the best dressed gets a $100 gift certificate to Skin Deep Tattoo.

Maui’s brand-new jazz club at Royal Lahaina Resort hosts their opening night with SLAM!, Maui’s premier jazz band, who will play until midnight.
The jazz club debut also includes a prime rib and seafood buffet and some quality cocktails.
Nuff Sedd Live Friday, May 25 at 10 p.m. at Charley’s Restaurant & Saloon in Paia. Entrance is $10.

Three-time Hawaiian Music Award Winners Nuff Sedd rock out Charley’s for Fourth Friday with a dance-inducing mix of ska, reggae, funk, R&B, and rock.
The Maui-based band recently released their much-anticipated second album, Life…in a Song. ‘Nuff said.

DJ Jayceeoh and DJ Sweet Beets Friday, May 25 at 9:30 p.m. at Casanova’s in Makawao. Entrance is $10.
LA’s DJ Jayceeoh decided to stop off on Maui during his Hawaii visit at Casanova’s for a Paia Fourth Friday after-party.
Maui’s own DJ Sweet Beets will also play as The Ultraviolets parade in masquerade and Haiku’s Make Believe t-shirt company doles out custom silk-screened giveaways.

For this month’s Paia Fourth Friday, “ART OUT,” visitors are invited to peruse Paia’s galleries for a chance to win a custom piece of artwork – pick up a card at each gallery and enter in a drawing that will be read tomorrow.
Featured entertainment includes live ukulele in the parking lot at 149 Hana Hwy, across from Charley’s, from 6:30-10 p.m. Ukulele players featured for the night are CJ Boom Helekahi, Hula Honeys, Benny Uyetake and students from Kalama Intermediate School.
Flatbread Pizza Co. hosts Upcountry Fitness, who are on hand with trainers, supplements, and fitness advice all evening.
It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on Indigo during the town party, where there’s always something to drink or gawk at or listen to. This month the shop’s owner Daniel Sullivan will sign copies of his new book, “Tribes of the Omo Valley,” a collection of photos documented during his trip to Ethiopia.
Another re-emerging hot spot is Paia Tatoo Parlor, who present an exhibition of tatoo-related artwork and paintings.
Most Paia shops will stay open late and feature sales, refreshments, and some hidden-treasure-entertainment like Upcountry Celtic at Maui Crafts Guild.
Tropix Party Series Statewide Launch Party Saturday, May 26 at 9:30 p.m at Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina.
Hard Rock Cafe hosts the launch of a new statewide summer party series, “Tropix Party Series,” which includes $3 beer specials, $4 for premium drinks, go-go girls, DJ Money Mike & DJ Big Mike, photographers, and filming for a network reality show about Hawaii.
If you visit the event’s Facebook page and click “attending,” you can get in for half price until 11 p.m. with mention of your name.

Pacific Radio Group Job Fair Saturday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at Queen Ka’ahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului.
Job seekers, especially students who have just graduated, have an opportunity to find new employment and explore career paths at the upcoming Pacific Radio Group Job Fair.
Employers include: Aloha Contract Services, which hires for airlines; Passman of Hawaii/Wailea, a jewelry retailer; and Dollar/Thrifty Rent A Car, Forever 21, Organo Gold, Macy’s, and more.
Memorial Day Bike Run & Rodeo Monday, May 28 at 9 a.m. at Veteran of Foreign Wars in Kihei. Tickets are $20.
Bike from Kahului Burger King in Kahului on a road course to honor veterans on Memorial Day, Maui style.
After the ride, the bike rodeo begins including a keg push, weenie bite, balloon toss, and a balance beam.
Maui County Memorial Day Service Monday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m. at Makawao Veteran’s Cemetery.
All are welcome to participate in the annual Memorial Day Service held upcountry with tho year’s speaker US Senator Inyoue.
