BRIEF: Pool Closures, Old Wailuku Pool Lap Swim

The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation today announced that both the Old and New Wailuku pools will be closed for maintenance on Thursday and Friday, May 31 and June 1, 2012.
County officials also advised that when the Old Wailuku Pool opens up next week, it will be used exclusively for lap swimming during lunchtime hours this summer.

Lap swim hours at the pool will be from noon to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday starting from June 4 to July 27. County officials say the lap swim hours are being offered as another option for those who exercise during their lunch break.
