No Tsunami Threat to Hawaii After 7.5 Guatemala Quake

There is NO tsunami threat to Hawaii following a 7.4 preliminary magnitude quake off the coast of Guatemala, that according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.

The USGS has revised the magnitude of the quake to 7.4, saying it was located about 35 miles SSW of Retalhuleu Guatemala, or 38 miles SSE of Suchiate, Chiapas, Mexico.

The quake occurred at 6:36 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at a depth of 25.9 miles.
