Hawaii Energy Excelerator Now Accepting Applications

The Hawaii Renewable Energy Development Venture and the Energy Excelerator, programs of the Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR), are looking for business or technology candidates for their new Lightning Excelerator.

A small number of applicants will be selected to participate in a week-long Lightning Excelerator event taking place from January 31 to February 7th. Applications close on January 11.

The curriculum of the program focuses on the tools, mentors, and networks needed to test and validate the business models and the technologies. The Lightning Excelerator is looking for teams with clean energy technologies that advance Hawaii’s energy needs and can scale for global impact.

Teams that successfully complete the Lightning Excelerator will have the opportunity to win $20,000 to $90,000 to further develop their business or technology.

Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR) is a Hawaii-based non-profit that has been a catalyst for technology development since 1983.
