Erosion Repair Honoapiilani Highway (Ongoing):

Ongoing construction continues this week to repair ocean erosion damage on the Honoapiilani Highway.

The current phase of the project involves work from Kai Hele Ku Street and Launiupoko State Park. Speed limits are reduced in the work zone area.

Transportation officials say the ocean erosion has undermined the shoulder lane foundation. Repairs are ongoing.

Repaving Honoapiilani in Kaanapali:

There is also pavement and resurfacing work scheduled Wednesday night, Dec. 26, through Friday morning, Dec. 28, on a section of the Honoapiilani Highway in Kaanapali.

The single lane closure on the main highway will take place during the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. nightly between Kuniau Road and Kaanapali Parkway.

Motorists are asked to follow posted roadway signage.
