On Wednesday, Jan. 9, the County of Maui Immigrant Services Division and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will hold a free informational meeting on immigration, employment eligibility and discrimination.

The public is invited to attend this free session that will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. (MEO), located at 99 Mahalani Street in Wailuku.

Topics to be covered include the USCIS Form I-9, relating to employment eligibility verification, an overview of immigration law updates and a question-and-answer session.

Speakers include Sebastian Aloot, Senior Enforcement Attorney with the Department of Justice Office of  Special Counsel; Darlene Kutara, USCIS Community Relations Officer, and Kevin Block, JD, Director of Immigrant Services, County of Maui Department of Housing and Human Concerns.
