Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa will deliver his 2013 State of the County address from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the HP Baldwin High School auditorium.

Doors for the event will open at 4 p.m. Those wishing to attend the event are asked to RSVP to Jock Yamaguchi at 270-8275 or via email at [email protected].

During his 2012 State of the County address, the mayor called on lawmakers to back a bill that addresses infrastructure tax credits and production credits to support the establishment of a film industry on Maui.

He also emphasized plans to make the county more efficient in part through plans to install photovoltaic panels at some two dozen county buildings.
