Habitat for Humanity Maui Appoints Deputy Director

Habitat for Humanity Maui has hired Richard Carr as deputy director.

Carr will work with Executive Director Sherri K. Dodson to execute the organization’s mission.

Carr has experienced in working with nonprofits and brings knowledge of construction and the organizational processes, Dodson said.

“Richard comes at a time as we strive to hit the 100-house mark,” she said.

Habitat just celebrated completing 75 homes and has a goal of completing 25 more homes in the next five years, Dodson said, adding with the “additional person at the helm to assist the director, we will further the goals of the organization.”
