The Maui Open Studios event – showcasing everything from sculpture and glass blowing to magic realism and whimsical gourd creations – starts this weekend.
Just hours after ticket sales began, promoters announced the addition of the third show, saying tickets are on sale now, but a check of the Ticketmaster website showed only pricey premium seats still left by afternoon.
The fourth annual Lanai Hawaiian Culture, Film & Music Festival will take place this weekend – Feb. 7, 8 and 9 – at The Four Seasons Resorts Lanai.
The event will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, on the lawn of the County Building in Wailuku.

The third show will take place on Monday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m., according to a post on the MACC’s Facebook page.
Written and directed by Keo Woolford, The Haumāna was produced in Hawaii and the entire cast was either born and raised or living here.
