Action sports brand Vans will open a store at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center center in late summer, becoming the first official Vans retailer on the neighbor islands, mall managers announced today.

Hawaiian to Launch Daily Service Between LA and Maui

The daily, non-stop service will operate year-round, and is expected to add more than 120,000 air seats to both travel markets when it launches on July 1, 2014.

Gas in Wailuku, Maui was up a penny from a week ago, up a three cents from a month ago, and up 20 cents from the same time last year—that according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge report.

Visitor Arrivals Down, Spending Up for Maui

Despite a slight drop in visitor arrivals to Maui in November, higher daily spending and a longer length of stay contributed to the growth in visitor expenditures for the island, according to new data released by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.
