AARP Hosts Maui Fraud Protection Event, April 3

The AARP is hosting a free public workshop on Maui this Thursday in an effort to uncover fraud, and protect retirement security from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Kaunoa Senior Center in Pāʻia.

Maui Unemployment Unchanged at 5% in February

Maui’s unemployment rate in February remained at 5%, unchanged from the month before, but down 0.2% from the same time last year, according to new information released by the state Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
