The Outlets of Maui will open for business on November 21st, with a grand opening scheduled for December 6, 2013. The center will house an estimated 35 retail shops and restaurants, including Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors.

A newly launched video conference feature allows residents of Molokaʻi to participate in Maui business workshops, and vice-versa, according to an announcement today by the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development.

Monsanto Donates $44,800 to Human Services on Maui

The Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic arm of the Monsanto Company, issued a total of $44,800 in grant funds to various county agencies and non-profit groups on Maui, the company announced.

Maui Visitor Spending Up 9.1%; Arrivals Up 3.9%

Visitor spending on Maui is up more than 9% so far this year, and visitor arrivals are up nearly 4%, according to year-to-date figures released this week by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.
