The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development released a list of workshops scheduled in July that are open to the general public. The workshops are offered at the Maui County Business Resource Center and are free unless otherwise noted.

Maui United Way raised just under $1 million over the past year during its annual campaign, which drew the participation of more than 350 businesses and more than 450 volunteers, said president and CPO Laksmi Abraham.

Bond Sale Generates Millions in Savings for Maui

Agsalog said that of the $75 million in proceeds, $51 million will fund new and ongoing capital improvement projects, and $24 million will go toward refunding.

MECO Debuts “Open Access” Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The station is open to the public around the clock, and is the first open access charging station on the island. That means drivers are not required to sign up for a membership or subscription to use the charger.
