The Hawai‘i State Dept.Labor today announced that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for Maui in June 2012 was 7.4%, or a one percentage point decrease from June 2011..

Hawaiian Airlines today implemented a new fare structure for neighbor island travel that lowers ticket prices across all of its fare classes from 4% to 25%.

For the just ended 2012 fiscal year, general fund deposits to the State of Hawaii are up by 14.9% compared with the 2011 fiscal year.
