The additional flights adds nearly 90,000 new air seats annually to Maui. Airline officials say the increased Maui service will strengthen Hawaiian’s new Maui hub at Kahului Airport, offering expanded options for nonstop service and easy connections to neighbor island airports.

The program sets up a process where clean energy investors and developers from China are referred to the Hawai’i State Energy Office. From there, state officials work to facilitate matchmaking with Hawai’i clean energy partners that are in need of capital or development partners.
