A group of 185 professionals concerned about public health gathered at the first Department of Health Chronic Disease Summit on Thursday February 17, at the Japanese-American Cultural Center in Oahu. This was the first Summit of its kind in Hawaii.

Maui Adult Day Care Centers’ (MADCC) Annual Family Caregivers Walk is scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 7 am to 11 am. The walk starts at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center and proceeds through Ke’Opuolani Park. An optional Mini Mall walk will also take place.
