Locally-based company Maui Peace Organics, Inc. has recently created a new type of healthy meal-replacement superfood bar.


Recycled Paint is used for the Annual Paint-a-Can Program.  This year 122 brightly colored litter barrels were painted by 36 Maui school. Paint is in turn offered for free to the public, schools, and non-profit organizations and is used for graffiti cleanups, beautification projects, and the annual “Paint-a-Can” program.

The thought of wearing high heels did not deter over 100 men from participating in Tuesday’s “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event. Hosted at UHMC in Kahului, the event called upon men to take a stand, literally against domestic violence.
