Seattle Seahawks linebacker John Lotulelei was awarded a $25,000 signing bonus Tuesday, the largest payout to an undrafted rookie free-agent in the NFL this year.

Maui’s Kristine Felix, a freshman at Washington State University, became the first Cougar woman to win the conference championships in the pole vault Sunday at the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships on Cromwell Field at Loker Stadium on the USC campus.

Even with a bruised shoulder from the trials, Baldwin High School’s Keelan Ewaliko carried the Bears to its second straight Hawaii High School Athletic Association State Track and Field Championship Saturday at Mililani High School by a quarter point over Punahou, 66.25 to 66.
