The season came to end for the University of Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team, losing to Washington 20-25, 25-20, 19-25, 27-25, 15-11 on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.

The University of Hawai’i Warrior football team sent out its senior class in style with a 23-7 victory over South Alabama Saturday night in the season finale at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium.

Kapalama’s Gaison Named New AD at KS-Maui

He was an All-State quarterback for Kamehameha and led the Warriors to back-to-back state football championships. He also earned the Stan Bates Award, given to the top male scholar-athlete in the Western Athletic Conference. He received All-WAC and All-America honors at UH, where he graduated in Pre-law. He played five seasons in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons.
