The University of Hawai’i men’s basketball team finalized its 2012-13 schedule with a pair of games, including UH’s first-ever visit to the island of Moloka’i.

Former Rainbow baseball stars Kolten Wong, Lenny Linsky, and Vinnie Catricala will be playing in the Arizona Fall League beginning this October. The AFL showcases Major League Baseball’s top prospects from every MLB organization. Wong will be playing for the Surprise Saguaros, Linsky with the Phoenix Desert Dogs, and Catricala for the Peoria Javelinas.

Rainbow Wahine Emily Hartong had 18 kills and 14 digs but it wasn’t enough, as the No. 5 California defeated No. 6 University of Hawai’i in five sets — 25-23, 16-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-12 — of the finale of the Hawaiian Airlines Classic on Sunday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
