The MIL Championship canoe regatta is being moved from Ka Lae Pōhaku beach park in South Maui to the Kahului Harbor due to “unfavorable and potentially unsafe conditions,” contest organizers said.

The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team improved to 10-0-0 on Tuesday, Jan. 14, scoring both of its goals in the first five minutes of the match en route to a 2-0 victory in a rain-shorten match at Kana’iaupuni Stadium in Pukalani.
