Mariel Galdiano of Pearl City and John Oda of Honolulu won their respective Girls/Boys 13-18 Divisions Saturday at the Kaanapali Kai Course, where 89 other junior golfers competed for the two spots.

Baldwin High School linebacker Jordan Hoiem confirmed Saturday night that Utah State offered him a scholarship on Thursday at the start of the camp and Pac-12 school Utah made its offer official Saturday at the conclusion of the three-day, full-pads event on Oahu.

Weber State Makes Scholarship Offer to Fangatua

Baldwin High School’s Miki Fangatua, a 6-foot-1, 245-pound first-team all-star defensive lineman, received his first college football scholarship offer Friday from Weber State. He is the third Baldwin prospect to receive a Division I scholarship offer since March.
