Pro surfers are back in the water today for day two of the Billabong Pipe Masters in Memory of Andy Irons. A large swell that peaked on Thursday afternoon will persist across the Hawaiian islands today with 10 foot waves expected at Pipeline.

The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa has formed a Search Advisory Committee to screen candidates and make recommendations for the vacant Head Football Coach position. The vacancy was created this week by the departure of former head coach Greg McMackin.

Kansas Head Coach Bill Self: I would bet tomorrow night’s atmosphere for the final game will be as good an atmosphere as the building has ever seen for this tournament. It’s better than NCAA tournament atmosphere because you can feel the crowd.
