Already the most decorated cheer club in the 50th state, the Hawaii All-Star Cheerleaders returned to Maui on Monday with its latest national championship. This one, however, will be talked about for years.

Seabury Hall’s Cameron King finished with a game-high 24 points Saturday as the Spartans of Olinda defeated Kohala, 57-45, en route to a third-place finish at the 2014 Division II state boys basketball tournament on Oahu.

Third-seeded Baldwin High School played without its best player, Teva Eldridge, in the critical fourth quarter Thursday against Maryknoll and his absence ultimately proved too much to overcome as the Bears dropped their quarterfinal game to the Spartans, 66-61, at Radford Gymnasium.
