Maui Surf Forecast

North: Surf heights are expected to be overhead to well overhead at the best breaks. Showing strongest for Ho’okipa eastward and gradually fading through the day.

West: Surf is waist/tummy high today. The best breaks could get up to chest high on the sets. Spots catching the northwest wrap will be bigger.

South: Surf is waist/tummy high today. The best breaks could get up to chest high on the sets. Spots blocked by other islands could be pretty flat.

Our current south-southwest is easing through the weekend. Yet another swell is forecast for around the 27th.

Our current northwest swell is easing over the weekend. A series of mid period northwest pulses are on tap for next week with some fun sized surf expected.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
