Property Caretaker / Housekeeper Couple - Wailea

This is an incredible opportunity based at an extraordinary home in Wailea. This role is ideally suited to a couple, possibly semi-retired? We want the best that we can get and we would like the candidates to be ‘Quasi Homeowners’ keeping the property absolutely impeccable at all times.
You will be self-motivated, industrious, have initiative, can work well unsupervised and are exceptionally good at time-management. You must take absolute pride in everything you do. Someone who will look for potential problems before they arise and can work very quickly at problem solving if they do.
The person looking after the caretaker/maintenance side of things will need to be fit, strong and have experience using a variety of hand tools. Ideally you could repair anything basic that becomes damaged or worn out including plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
As you will also be greeting guests when they arrive we need you to be personable and friendly. This is not a 'live-in position so the ideal candidates will be located within a reasonable distance to Wailea.
The owner is based in a different country therefore self-motivation and initiative are key along with regular reporting of the work undertaken on the property.
Property Caretaker / Housekeeper Job Description
Upkeep and general maintenance of home and property – including but not limited to;
· Keeping grounds looking immaculate
· Tree pruning
· Regular lawn maintenance
· Washing windows
· Exterior home maintenance
· Cleaning drainage
· Reparation to anything that is damaged or worn-out
· Any other exterior maintenance as required
· Ensure all gym equipment is functioning
· All lights are working
· All electrics functioning as they should; doors, air-conditioning, tv’s etc.
· All remotes have functioning batteries
· Checking shower-heads have water flowing freely
· All sinks are draining properly
· Vehicles are serviced and up to date with requirements
· Any other interior maintenance as required
· Sweeping/mopping floors
· Cleaning of entire home and bathrooms
· Laundry, washing towels and ensuring presented beautifully in each bathroom
· Keeping all surfaces dusted
· Immaculate presentation of furnishings, pillows puffed, toilet rolls stocked etc.
· Keeping all supplies fully stocked ie; drinks in fridges, laundry detergents etc.
· Pick-up guests from Airport and show functions of the home if first time visitors
· Fresh flowers for all main living areas and bedrooms guests will be using
· Laundry of towels and possibly personal items as required
· To be on call when guests are in residence, ensure everything is going ok and resolve any operating issues should they arise
