CIP Funding Released for Hawaii Island
More than $3 million in CIP appropriations are being released for the Hamakua Ditch Watershed Project on Hawaii Island. The funds are part of a larger funding release from Governor Abercrombie for projects in Waimea and Kau.
Ceded Lands Settlement Proposal Clears Senate
The Hawaii State Senate cast a 24 to 1 vote in favor of advancing a $200 million ceded lands settlement proposal. The bill now advances to the state House for further review.
