$26 Million UHMC Science Building Dedicated

The facility was named ʻIke Leʻa, meaning “to see clearly,” and features laboratories and classrooms designed to respond to the challenges in the STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

When complete, the Pu’u Kukui school will become the second public elementary school in Wailuku.

On the second memorial since his passing, the late Representative Bob Nakasone of Maui was recognized today with a building renamed in his honor.
