Maui Wildfire Photos

Mahalo to all who sent photos and video from the Maui wildfire.  Below is a slideshow of the fire from around the island.  The fire burned an estimated 10,000 acres, forced evacuation of thousands in North Kihei and Maalaea, resulted in road closures and power outages as well as travel impacts at Kahului Airport.

Maui fire crews are responding to a brush fire reported in the area of East Waikō Road and Kūihelani Highway. The incident was reported at around 10:48 a.m.
