Downed Tree Closes Hāna Hwy in Kīpahulu

Hāna Highway (Route ) 31 at mile marker 42 in Kipahulu is closed due to a downed tree. Maui County is responding.

The state Department of Transportation has announced several lane closures in effect on roadways in Maui County between Saturday, Dec. 12, and next Friday, Dec. 18, 2015.

7 Week Project Underway on Old Haleakalā Highway Near Airport

The project is expected to take seven weeks to complete and has resulted in the closure of the Old Haleakalā Highway between Kuleana Street to approximately 400 feet southeast of the Cargo Road.

Road Work Begins in Summit District of Haleakalā

Road work begins at 8 a.m. today, Monday, Oct. 5, in the Summit District of Haleakalaā National Park, and continues through Wednesday, Oct. 7. Sunrise and sunset viewing and parking will not be impacted.

BRIEF: Road Work on Ka‘ahumanu Avenue Fronting Maui Mall

The Department of Water Supply will conduct road work on Ka‘ ahumanu Avenue in front of Maui Mall today, Feb. 4. The two lanes going toward Hāna Highway will be blocked until approximately 2 p.m. today, until the work is completed. Traffic flow on Ka‘ ahumanu Avenue heading toward Wailuku will not be affected.
