County hosting Chinese New Year celebration Feb. 20 at Kalana O Maui Building

The public is invited to a Chinese New Year celebration, including lion dancers and martial arts, at 9 a.m. Feb. 20, 2026, on the front lawn of the County of Maui Kalana O Maui Building in Wailuku.

Two New Year’s Eve public aerial fireworks displays in Maui County

Maui County will host two public aerial firework displays this year—one at the Grand Wailea Resort and another at the Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi—according to an announcement from the Maui Fire Department. Both displays begin at approximately 11:59 p.m. on New Yearʻs Eve, Dec. 31, 2024.
