Maui Road Work: Pukalani, Kāʻanapali, Māʻalaea

Several state transportation projects are planned this week that will result in lane closures or detours in Pukalani, Kāʻanapali, Māʻalaea. Transportation officials say schedules may change without further notice, and all projects are weather permitting.

The state Department of Transportation has scheduled several road projects on Maui this week that will result in lane closures. All projects are scheduled to run Monday, Feb. 24 to Friday, Feb. 28, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., and are weather permitting.

Road work begins today on improvements to the Puklani Bypass between the Pukalani Junction and Five Trees, according to a public notice issued by Maui Paving LLC.
