East Maui Traffic Advisory: Treacherous Roads

Inclement weather conditions in the East Maui area of Hāna have made roadways treacherous and impassable in certain areas. Police say Kapia Road and ʻUlaino Road have been affected by flooding.

Portion of Pīpīwai Trail Closed Following Heavy Rains

The last 1/2 mile of the Pīpīwai Trail, including the viewpoint for Waimoku Falls in the Kīpahulu District of Haleakalā National Park in East Maui, is closed due to downed trees following heavy rains this week.
