Preliminary statistics released today by the Hawaii Tourism Authority show increased visitor arrivals and expenditures for Maui and statewide for July 2012 compared to last year.

Total Maui visitor expenditures for March 2012 climbed 24.6% to $352.9 million compared to the same month one year ago, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority.

Hawaiian Airlines will add more seats on its Osaka-Honolulu route with the its newest and largest aircraft, the 294-seat Airbus A330-200, starting April 21, 2012.
