Maui-born MLB All-Star and Los Angeles Angels Manager, Kurt Suzuki, is hosting the Kurt Suzuki Family Foundation’s 7th Annual “A Taste of Hawaiʻi” at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea this weekend in partnership with Chef Isaac Bancaco. The event will feature a night of fine culinary experiences and first-class entertainment.

As the first full-time Major League Baseball manager ever from the state of Hawai’i, Suzuki was humbled as he prepared to go to the Major League Baseball Winter Meetings in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 6.

Kurt Suzuki, a 2001 graduate from Mauiʻs Baldwin High School, will become the first MLB manager from Hawai’i when he takes command of the Los Angeles Angels.
