Lisa Varde succeeds Ululani “Lani” Correa who retires at the end of this month. Varde has served as the Foundation’s development specialist since the beginning of last year.

The Maui show is at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Yokouchi Pavilion and A&B Amphitheater.

On November 5 at 7 p.m. the Maui Arts & Cultural Center will host the world premier of When the Mountain Calls: Nepal, Tibet & Bhutan.

On Sunday October 16, the Maui Arts and Cultural Center will have a free event from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., dedicated to that little stringed instrument that garners such a huge following here in the islands.

Henry Kapono Ka’aihue will play, talk story, and sing onstage at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on August 19, from 7:30 p.m. in the McCoy Studio Theater.
