Maui Earth Day Celebration a Reminder of Sustainability
The theme of this year’s non-profit festival is “Celebration, Education, Activation, Together We can do it!” The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Keōpūolani Park Amphitheater behind Maui Nui Botanical Gardens in Wailuku.
Two Maui Playgrounds Temporarily Closed Aug. 3-4
The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation will temporarily close the Wailuku Heights and Keopuolani Playgrounds for repair and replacement work.
Safety Assessed at Hui Aloha Playground Structure
Access and use of the wooden structure is temporarily closed while repair and replacement options are being evaluated.

KEOPUOLANI PARK UPGRADES IN PROGRESS
Three softball fields at Central Maui’s Keopuolani Park will reopen on April 27th after the completion of a fence replacement project.
