Hawaiʻi Association of College Admissions Counselors in partnership with New Zealand Education will host a New Zealand University Fair on Wednesday, March 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Seabury Hall Dining Hall.

Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia welcomed into Ōkahu Bay, Auckland by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei

The Polynesian Voyaging Society’s double-hulled canoes Hōkūleʻa and her sister vessel Hikianalia received a powerful and deeply moving welcome into Ōkahu Bay, Auckland from Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Tuesday morning. The canoes were joined by Haunui, a waka hourua (double-hulled canoe) of Te Toki Voyaging Trust.

Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia crews make safe landfall in Aotearoa

After 17 days and more than 1,600 nautical miles of open-ocean voyaging, traditional double-hulled voyaging canoes Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia made safe landfall Friday morning at Aotearoa’s Bay of Islands. The arrival marks the successful completion of Leg 15 of the Moananuiākea Voyage, a multi-year circumnavigation of the Pacific.
