Rising Swell a Dangerous Temptation for Surfers

Surfing during a rising swell is the most dangerous time to be out in the water because you never really know how big it’s going to get until it is sometimes too late.

20-25 Foot Surf Prompts Warning

Forecasters from the NWS expect surf to build to 20-25 foot range along the north facing shores this afternoon and tonight. Surf along the west facing shores is projected to be in the 15-20 foot range.
