Maui Police Department veterans Nicholas Angell and Nicholas Krau have been promoted to the rank of captain. The promotions are scheduled to take effect on Jan. 16.

The Pacific Whale Foundation has promoted three people to new key positions: Tami Hamilton (CPO), Matt Gundred (CFO) and Blake Moore (COO).

The County’s “Got Choice…Think Local” campaign is being extended through the end of August (8/31/2010).  County officials say the extension was made possible through public support of the program and its popularity.
