The 54-hole tournament hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi takes place Oct. 28-30 at Royal Kā‘anapali on the West Coast of Maui.

Maui’s PGA Tour event, the Tournament of Champions at The Plantation Course, has secured Sentry Insurance as its title sponsor through 2035.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions announced its final field of competitors for the upcoming event, with 39 PGA TOUR winners from the 2021 calendar year officially committing to the PGA TOUR’s annual stop on Maui.

Due to a new eligibility category for the PGA TOUR’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, 2020 Tokyo gold medalist Xander Schauffele of the United States qualified for the 2022 tournament that returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua on January 5-9.

English, Morikawa, Davis, Glover and Power will join 25 other TOUR winners on Maui when the 2022 event returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua in January.

Sentry Insurance Foundation presented Maui United Way with a contribution of $25,000 to go toward their 2020-2021 Live United Campaign. Sentry representatives Kalynn Pempek, Executive Director and Stephanie Smith, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer were able to present the check in person at the Maui United Way office in Wailuku.

Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth qualified for the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions after their recent PGA TOUR victories. Matsuyama and Spieth have qualified to join the other 14 TOUR winners next January in paradise when the Sentry Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions field is set with a record 42 PGA Tour players competing at The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 6-10.

Abraham Ancer, Tony Finau, Lanto Griffin and Scottie Scheffler have committed to play in the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions at The Plantation Course at Kapalua, Jan. 6-10.

The PGA Tour has opened volunteer registration for the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions event on Maui. The PGA Tour’s annual event will return to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 6 to 10, 2021 and will follow safety regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result of changes to the professional golf calendar made by the PGA TOUR due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions field will include an additional qualification category.

TOUR generates record $204.3 million in 2019; brings total to $3.05 billion.

The leader after round one of the 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions is 21-year-old Joaquin Niemann, who was in a one-shot lead over Justin Thomas after day one on The Plantation Course in Kapalua.

First-time PGA TOUR winners Collin Morikawa and Matthew Wolff have committed to play in the 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions when the event returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 1 to 5.

The 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions is planning two free youth events on the West side–a Paint and Putt art workshop on Dec. 29, 2019, and the ʻOhana Day benefit on Jan. 1, 2020.

With no more official PGA TOUR events remaining in 2019, Duncan is the final qualifier as the tournament returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 1-5, 2020.
