Temporary lane closures will be implemented starting on December 10 along the Upcountry Pi`ilani Highway as crews work to restore the road that was impacted during construction of the Auwahi Wind project on Ulupalakua Ranch.

Yesterday, Sempra Generation, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, announced that it has entered into a 20-year contract to sell 21 megawatts (MW) of wind energy to Maui Electric Company from the Auwahi Wind project on the Ulupalakua Ranch.
