The 2013 World Series will have local flavor Shane Victorino when it starts today with St. Louis at Boston for Game 1, beginning at 2:30 p.m. (Hawaii Standard Time) on FOX television.

Hāna High School decided to hāna’i the sport of 8-man football and almost three months ago the coaches pumped air into the school’s first footballs.

Seabury Hall dropped the hammer on St. Anthony in form of junior running back Cayde Omura, who accounted for four touchdowns and more than half the Spartans’ total offense en route to a 61-6 victory in 8-man football Thursday at War Memorial Stadium.
