High Surf Advisory In Effect for South Shores

Maui Now up-to-date surf report for October 2011.

Two South Shore Swells to Arrive This Week

The first swell will produce advisory level surf today into Thursday. This swell will be reinforced by a second, potentially larger swell by Friday, likely requiring an extension of the advisory into the weekend.

High Surf for South Shores until 6 p.m. 6/6/11

The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory until 6 p.m. for the south facing shores of the Hawaiian Islands.

High Surf E. Shores Maui and Molokai until 6 p.m. 4/8/11

Surf is expected to be in the 6 to 8 foot range along the east facing shores of Maui and Molokai today.

High Surf Advisory Cancelled 4/1/11 8:45 a.m.

The National Weather Service has extended the high surf advisory for the North Facing shores in Maui County until noon today.

High Surf East Shores Maui and Molokai until 6p 3/25/11

Rough surf is expected to be in the 8-12 foot range today, lowering to 6 to 10 feet tonight and Friday.

High Surf Warning North Shores Maui and Molokai until 6a 3/16/11

A High Surf WARNING is in effect for the north facing shores of Maui and Molokai from 6 o clock tonight until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

High Surf East Shores Maui and Molokai until 6a 2/18/11

Surf heights are expected to be in the 6-9 foot range today and tonight.

High Surf Advisory North Shores until 6 p.m. 2/14/11

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the HIGH SURF ADVISORY for NORTH and EAST FACING SHORES of MOLOKAI and MAUI now in effect until 6:00 p.m. this evening.

High Surf Advisory until 6 p.m. 2/9/11

35-40 Foot Surf to Roll in to North Shores of Maui: Jan. 19-21

Surf will build to 35 to 40 feet along north shores of Maui and Molokai this afternoon into tonight, peaking during the day on Thursday.

Large Swell expected to peak Wednesday Jan. 19, 2011

The swell is being generated by a large hurricane force low in the western north Pacific Ocean.
