Parrothead alert!  Jimmy Buffett makes a long-anticipated return to Maui to perform in the A & B Amphitheater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Tuesday, February 24 at 7:00 pm; gates open at 5:30 pm.  Singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett has translated his easygoing Gulf Coast character into a wildly successful music career, with concert tours that evolve into Mardi Gras-like affairs thanks to the hi-jinks, headgear and sing-alongs by the faithful fans (dubbed “Parrotheads”)  on his Coconut Wireless network. He’s also found success in his other ventures, including as a bestselling author and nation-wide restaurateur, including a new one opening soon in Waikiki!

Jimmy Buffett’s newest release is a DVD titled  Scenes You Know By Heart, a collection of  the best live performances of the songs on his six-million selling CD, Songs You Know By Heart, selected from his concerts around the world: Paris, Anguilla, Cincinnati, Hawai`i, Chicago, Las Vegas, Indiana and Dallas. In addition to the 13 videos, there are two bonus cuts, “Hey Good Lookin” and “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere” (a #1 hit for which Jimmy received his first Grammy nomination). Upcoming is a new live acoustic CD, which will be comprised of the intimate final encore songs he does at the end of each show (sometimes alone, sometimes with Coral Reefer Mac McAnally)  which will be unique collection, like no other.

Experience Jimmy Buffett’s “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” at the MACC … tropical rock right at home under tropical skies on Maui!

Tickets are : $56, $66, $86 plus applicable fees; a limited number of $126 premium seating tickets will also be available. *
